At the beginning of wedding planning the DIY list seems exciting and kind of fun. For some reason you think you've become a caterpillar that grew 458 arms overnight and of course you can DIY everything for your wedding but as the date gets closer, you start to realize that you may have DIY overload.
For my own wedding I decided I was going to DIY everything. Oh yeah, all the decor, the signs, all the 9 bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, my bouquet, a large ceremony wreath, and ceremony aisle decor. Please don't ever, ever, ever, EVER DIY everything for your own wedding. It's crazy, stressful and you spend the days leading up to your wedding running around like a maniac.
Here's 5 things you totally should DIY because they're cake, easy, and they'll save you money!
1) Table Numbers and Bride/Groom Signs
DIY printable from Snippet and Ink, click through the picture for the link and download.
2) Will you be my bridesmaid card?
Free printable bridesmaid card from Something Pretty, click through the picture for the link.
3) Save the Date
I'm so in love with this DIY save the date post card, I used it at my own wedding.
Use the link through the picture, upload your own photo, I suggest printing through uprinting.com, and ship out!
4) Your first dance
How do you DIY your first dance? Just dance like yourselves, please for the love of god.
Even if you just stand up there and spin around it looks so much better than if you look like you're trying to win dancing with the stars, awkwardly.
5) Mr & Mrs Banner
Perfect for your sweet heart table or hanging up at your wedding venue!
These are 5 things you should definitely DIY but please don't try to DIY all the things! Happy Planning!
